From Sweden to a simpler produce routine.
When founder Maja Lindberg moved from Sweden to the United States, the produce she brought home often felt different from what she grew up with. Becoming a mother made that small kitchen question much harder to ignore.

After watching her little one reach for berries and grapes, Maja started paying closer attention to the outside of everyday fruit and vegetables. A quick rinse could still leave the waxy feeling that bothered her. Yet the alternatives never became a realistic family habit: sprays meant treating every piece separately, powders meant measuring and mixing, and countertop devices added another machine.
The goal was not a dramatic demonstration. It was to recreate the fresh, clean feeling Maja remembered in a step simple enough to repeat after every grocery run.
That search became ProduceTabs 1.0
Maja built the idea from the family routine backward. The format had to remove pouring, scooping and item-by-item spraying. The batch had to fit one bowl. The directions had to be easy to remember. And the formula had to be food-grade, fragrance-free and designed to leave with the rinse water — without vinegar, soap or sulfate surfactants, essential oils, or artificial dye.
Make the measure automatic
One tablet is one full-bowl wash. No cap line, scoop or “extra for good measure.”
Keep the proof honest
The tablet dissolves clear. Water color is not treated as a pesticide test or a performance.
Say where the limit is
A wash acts on the outside. It cannot reach systemic residue absorbed inside produce.
Finish with fresh water
Loosening surface film is only half the routine; the rinse carries it away.
Our honesty policy
We do not claim it sterilizes food, eliminates all bacteria, removes residue from inside the flesh or makes conventional produce organic. The FDA recommends running water and does not recommend commercial produce wash as a category; customers deserve to know that before choosing an optional extra routine. Read the FDA guidance.
Where ComesOff is today
ProduceTabs 1.0 is the first version of Maja’s idea: 12 pre-measured tablets, three full-bowl washes per week, a five-minute wash and a 60-day money-back guarantee. ComesOff is still a young brand, so our standard is simple — keep the directions readable, keep comparisons fair and change the copy when the evidence changes.
If the result does not earn a permanent place in your kitchen, tell us. A guarantee is useful only when it gives a customer a real way to disagree.
A calmer way to finish the grocery run.
One tablet, one bowl, five minutes and a thorough fresh-water rinse.
